Throughout
my growing up and into my adult years, I
have never been without a dog or 2 or 4 or 7
by my side.
If you
are here, I do not need to tell you how
important pets are in our lives, you
understand and you treasure them and each
moment in the time we are blessed to have
with them, in this lifetime.
Myself, I truly believe with all that I am,
that we will be reunited with our pets that
have crossed over.
I had
originally made over a year ago after losing
one of my dogs, Packy a fun loving, spoiled,
beautiful Maltese/Yorkie Mix.
Losing
him after many years of nursing him and his
"adopted" brothers who all had various
illnesses, was the pinnacle of my finally
grieving for all of them - understand,
I was
always busy caring for all my guys, while I
broke down with each of their passings, I
did not allow myself a grieving period, I
could not, I had to take care of the other's
that needed me, medication's etc.
There
will be more on each one of my lad's inside,
each had problem's, each lived their lives
longer than many healthy dog's.
Setting up this site was therapy, if you
will.
In the
weeks to come, this spot will have various
pages set up as tributes to the wonderful
dogs that were each given to me in this life
as a gift from God.
They
each were different and added more than can
possibly be said on a website to my life and
to the lives of one another and my family
members.
There
will also be an area or two for your own
reflections on your pet, with poems, and
hopefully we can also add an area for you to
leave prayers or a story of your own.
Sadly,
due to excessive spamming our last prayer
guestbook, it had to be removed, we are now
searching for something that will alleviate
that problem.
In the
meantime, you are welcome to have a candle
placed for your pet and yourself at our
Candle Corner.
